I tried dining in, ordered some food and tried their caramel cheesecake. It was so tempting, but when you taste it, honestly it is nothing special about their caramel cheesecake. Not so yummy at all. Cafe Tavera is a local gem built by a team of people, who are passionate about fine dining and hospitality. The restaurant's name derives from its address of Tavera Street and permeates throughout the business, from subtle architectural details to the menu list!
I had to taste their blueberry cheesecake and wham, it is really delicious, fluffy, light, not so sweet, and it melts directly in your mouth. It is super delicious. If you ask me, comparing it to Sugar Munch's, I suggest, this one's I will still pick.

Roasted above but the inside filling is yummy. The crust is not sweet and its good. Its delicious but I can taste more of its sour cream.

Easy Home Made Durian Ice Cream

You can have any flavors like vanilla, chocolate, even reese and butterfinger flavors and the like. It also has fruit flavors like mango, strawberry, mangosteen and more.
But how about Durian Ice Cream??? Durian is a fruit that has a saying "Smells Like Hell, Tastes Like Heaven". Durian is the main fruit here in Davao City, and it's flowing everywhere with a cheap price.
I have this encounter of home made durian ice cream that is so easy to make.
Ingredients:
2 cans of nestle cream
1 can of condensed milk
1 can of evaporated milk
5 pcs of durian (separate the seed from it)
Procedure:
1. Blend the durian in a blender machine.
2. Mix 2 cans of nestle cream, 1 can of condensed milk , 1 can of evaporated milk in a bowl with a mixer. Then add the durian blended a while ago, if the mixture is fluffy.
3. Freeze it for 6 hours.
4. Mix it again with the mixer.
5. Freeze it for 8 hours.
There you have it...Very Easy Home Made Durian ice cream

This (above) blueberry cheesecake costs PhP82.00, too small for PhP82.00. The taste is good but compare it to the blueberry cheesescake of Sugar Munch, I'd say, still Sugar Munch's Blueberry cheesecake tastes good than the french baker blueberry cheesecake..But still this will depend on our taste buds right... I was just curious about their blueberry cheesecake and have it a try. Feel free to comment...

Many of us loved no bake desserts because they are so easy to prepare and waiting time before we can eat it is just 1 hour. I tried making this JELL-O Oreo No Bake Dessert to check if this is delicious. OREO as you can see is a favorite with both adults and kids with this JELL-O Oreo No Bake Dessert, it has real OREO cookie pieces, a luscious creamy filling, and a chocolaty OREO crust that most of us loved.

It consists 3 packages inside. Step 1 is for the crust. Step 2 is for the filling and step 3 is for the cookie pieces.
What You'll need:
Crust: 4 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
Filling: 1 and 1/3 cups cold milk (fresh milk will do)
Note: for best flavor, do not use prepared nonfat dry milk. Filling will have a soft set if made with soy milk.
Procedure:
1. Stir crust mix and margarine in 8-inch square dish until crumbs are evenly moistened. PRESS onto bottom of dish.
2. Pour milk into medium bowl. Add Filling Mix. Beat with mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then bear on medium speed 3 minutes. (Do not underbeat) Reserve 1/2 cup Cookie pieces; gently stir remaining into filling until well blended. Spoon into crust.
3. Top dessert with reserved cookie pieces. (Or, for a crunchier topping, sprinkle reserved cookie pieces over chilled dessert just before serving.)
Refrigerate 1 hour. Dessert can also be served frozen. Wrap tightly. Freeze 4 hours or until firm.
4. Dip dish, just to rim, in hot water 30 seconds for easy cutting and serving. Store in refrigerator.
Tips:
TO FREEZE: Wrap tightly; freeze up to 2 weeks. Thaw in refrigerator 1 hour before serving.
TO DOUBLE RECIPE: Prepare 2 packages in 13x9 inch pan.

Ingredients:
6 tablespoons cake flour
2 tablespoon melted butter
1 beaten egg
1/4 teaspoon of cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 sachets of Milo for adults
No need for sugar because it is already sweet
Procedure:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, line a baking sheet on your cookie pan.
2. Place butter into a small saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat if the butter is melted. Make sure to let the butter cool for 5 minutes before adding to other ingredients.
3. In a medium bowl, stir together the milo and butter. Stir in the egg, vanilla, flour, baking soda and cornstarch. Transfer dough to prepared baking sheet. Press evenly into a round and bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool on cookie sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to cooling rack. Serve and enjoy.
